Can someone I.D. these two early airborne ovals?
« on: January 29, 2017, 07:13:28 pm »
I need help identifying two airborne ovals in my collection.

One has a white or light gray center with a light blue border. It is embroidered on twill with a cheesecloth backing. 1950's era?

The other is embroidered on red felt with a wide black border within a thin white border. it has a cheesecloth backing and looks to be a typical WW2 piece.

Any help identifying these two airborne ovals will be appreciated.

The bottom oval appears to be the 513th PIR.
